This sweet and resinous woody composition intends to carry its wearers on a spiraling melody upward and into the trees. Imagine you’re walking alone on a trail in a humid forest. It’s a late spring day. The soft sound of a nearby waterfall moves through the forest and rinses your mind. Then, an unexpected bird call catches your attention. You look up to try to find the source of the playful song but no luck! Instead, you witness beautiful komorebi: sunlight filtering down through the endless shades of green in the canopy, all to the soundtrack provided by this humble, invisible bird.

The facets in this fragrance are herbal, cheerful, and evocative of a lush Oregon forest on a warm day.

Between mid May and mid July, my favorite migratory songbird, the Swainson's Thrush, makes its annual migration along the West Coast. While it’s very elusive, you can hear this tiny bird when hiking in nearby forests and along riparian areas of Western Oregon's waterways.
